Cómo Usar Esta Herramienta

- Enter a hostname, domain, or IP address to test connectivity (ping) and trace the network path (traceroute).

- Shows ping response time, packet loss, and a hop-by-hop traceroute with latency at each network node.
Cómo Interpretar los Resultados
Ping latency under 50ms is excellent for same-continent targets. Packet loss above 1% indicates network issues. In traceroute, a sudden latency increase at a specific hop reveals the bottleneck. Asterisks (*) mean the hop did not respond — this is often normal for routers that block ICMP.
Problemas Comunes y Soluciones
ICMP-blocked hosts show as unreachable even when the service is running on TCP. Traceroute hops with * do not necessarily indicate a problem — many routers deprioritize or block ICMP. Asymmetric routing means return path may differ from the forward path shown.
