A nameserver is a specialized server that stores DNS records and responds to queries about domain names. When someone visits your website, nameservers are queried to find the IP address associated with your domain. Every domain must have at least two nameservers for redundancy.
Cómo Funciona
There are two main types: authoritative nameservers hold the definitive DNS records for a domain, while recursive resolvers query authoritative servers on behalf of users. When you register a domain, you point it to your hosting provider's nameservers, which then serve your DNS records to the world.
